She also went on to dress Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis for the last 12 years of her life. The creation of her fragrance 212 was one of the most popular and recognized perfumed of our time. Like mother, like daughter? Carolina Adriana Herrera, joined her mother in the fragrance world to work on 212. The elder Carolina began her ready-to-wear fashion line in the 1980's at the age of 41. She is adulated for her sophisticated day and evening wear. She opened two Carolina Herrera New York flagship boutiques in the world - Madison Avenue, NY and Los Angeles, CA. She launched her lifestyle brand called CH Carolina Herrera in 2003, and is working to expand her lifestyle collections.
